Karnataka Minister Priyank Kharge on Monday criticized the BJP for abandoning its duties as an opposition party, instead focusing on trivialities.
Kharge, addressing reporters at the Suvarana Vidhana Soudha, claimed the BJP was ignoring crucial central government matters, such as the Minimum Support Price (MSP) for maize and Fair and Remunerative Price (FRP) for sugarcane, both central government responsibilities.
He revealed that the Centre owed Karnataka substantial amounts, including Rs 13,000 crore for the Jal Jeevan Mission, yet BJP's focus was on trivial issues like Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and his deputy's choice of wristwatches.
