Congress Accuses Modi of Politicizing 'Vande Mataram' Debate

Congress leader Gaurav Gogoi defended his party's historical role in elevating 'Vande Mataram' to the status of a national song. During the Lok Sabha discussion, Gogoi alleged that PM Modi frequently references Nehru and the Congress to score political points, especially while discussing India's historical achievements.

Gogoi further contended that the BJP shies away from acknowledging its lack of participation in crucial anti-colonial movements. He also critiqued Modi's government for not addressing current pressing issues, highlighting a recent bomb explosion as a topic strategically omitted from the PM's speech.
