Congress MLA Bala Bachchan criticized the administration's handling of the police force, citing specific instances of misconduct, including a hawala racket in Seoni district.

The BJP countered these allegations, with spokesperson Pankaj Chaturvedi accusing Congress of manufacturing baseless claims. He maintained that the Madhya Pradesh police operate within constitutional boundaries and that the law and order situation remains stable.
