In the thick of the Mumbai civic polls, the air is tense with anticipation as political parties keep a close eye on the counting of votes. Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut has urged supporters not to lose hope, suggesting that the current trends, showing BJP-Shiv Sena dominance, might shift dramatically by midnight.

While the outcome of these crucial elections remains on a knife-edge, Raut remains optimistic for a reversal of fortunes. He remarks that despite BJP's strong performance across Maharashtra, the real battle in Mumbai continues as every vote is counted meticulously.

Currently, BJP leads in 90 wards, while the Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena holds sway in 28. The NCP and Congress face marginal successes, leading in a handful of wards. Raut highlighted that significant counts in wards 60 to 75 are yet to unfold, urging stakeholders to stay vigilant as the final picture emerges.
