Congress's top leadership gathered in Delhi on Friday to strategize for the Assam assembly elections. The meeting, organized by Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge at 10, Rajaji Marg, included former party chief Rahul Gandhi.
Prominent figures like Bhupesh Baghel and D K Shivakumar, as well as other senior Congress leaders, emphasized the party's intent to unseat the BJP, which has held power for two consecutive terms in Assam.
The upcoming elections for the 126-member Assam Assembly will coincide with polls in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and West Bengal, making this strategy session crucial for Congress's campaign.
