Samik Bhattacharya, BJP's West Bengal unit president, has critiqued the TMC for leveraging the Muslim community merely as a vote bank while failing to aid in their economic development.
At a Minority Morcha event, Bhattacharya asserted that, unlike the current ruling party, the BJP would guide young Muslims away from violence and towards constructive endeavors, integrating them into the mainstream.
He compared the prosperity and peaceful status of Muslims in NDA-governed states to the situation in West Bengal, accusing TMC of misusing its power to shelter violent elements and neglect minorities.
