Narayanan Tirupathy, a leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), has launched a scathing attack on the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) and Congress, accusing them of opposing the Women's Reservation Bill. He described the bill as a 'historic step' that should be implemented by 2029 rather than 2034, arguing that further delays are unnecessary.

Tirupathy criticized Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin for burning a copy of the Delimitation Bill, calling it a 'black law.' He also targeted Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) leader Vijay, suggesting that he is merely echoing DMK's stance without understanding the bill. Tirupathy further alleged that opposition parties are unhappy with the Women's Reservation Bill.

The BJP leader accused DMK of electoral malpractices, claiming misuse of government resources and bribery, including the distribution of money and misleading voters with false election commission approvals. He dismissed TVK's electoral prospects, predicting they won't win any seats in the upcoming elections. These allegations come in the backdrop of rising political tensions in Tamil Nadu.
