Nitish Kumar, the JD(U) national president, has moved out of the Bihar Chief Minister's official residence after occupying it for around twenty years. The experienced leader recently transitioned to being a Rajya Sabha MP, leaving the CM post on April 14.
The departure from the 1 Anne Marg residence, designated as the official CM's house since 2006, comes after the BJP's Samrat Choudhary took charge as the new chief minister. Kumar had been in continuous service as the CM since November 2005, marking an end of an era.
Nishant Kumar, his son, confirmed the shift to a new location at 7 Circular Road. The transition coincided with Buddha Purnima, for which Nishant extended greetings to the community.
