In anticipation of the Kerala Assembly election results due on Monday, political parties across the state are preparing for celebrations. In Malappuram's Pandikkad, Congress and UDF workers have organized to serve biryani to around 5,000 people, signaling their confidence in a victory.

Congress leaders have set up a large tent in town to distribute the biryani and have also planned cultural programs. They believe the UDF will reclaim power after a decade under LDF rule. Similarly, preparations are underway at the Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee headquarters in Indira Bhavan, with sweets ordered to celebrate expected wins.

The BJP, aiming to secure its first seats in the Kerala Assembly, has also prepared for celebrations, organizing significant quantities of laddoos in Kochi. Despite having no MLAs currently, the party and its allies are optimistic about winning key constituencies such as Nemom and Thiruvalla, attributing potential success to dissatisfaction with both the LDF and UDF.
