Controversial Electoral Defeats: Accusations and Allegations in West Bengal

Sanjay Raut, a leader from Shiv Sena (UBT), expressed grave concerns over the tactics that led to Mamata Banerjee's defeat in West Bengal, accusing the ruling BJP of exploiting communalism and a controversial voter list update.

Raut alleged that 92 lakh names were axed from the electoral roll in a Special Intensive Revision by the Election Commission, which he claims was manipulated to favor the BJP. He also suggested that this marks the outset of the NDA's dwindling power, urging opposition unity amidst looming electoral challenges.

Meanwhile, NCP (SP) leader Rohit Pawar pointed to signs of anti-incumbency affecting parties like DMK and TMC, while also condemning acts of vandalism by BJP workers in the evolving political climate.
