Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan hailed the BJP's victory in the West Bengal assembly elections as a 'historic' and 'decisive' mandate of confidence in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership. The BJP is on track to form the government in West Bengal, surpassing the majority mark with over 200 seats, ending the TMC's 15-year rule.
The party is set to retain power in Assam, with the NDA poised to return to power in Puducherry. In a post on X, Pradhan expressed gratitude for West Bengal's significant mandate, emphasizing the state's creation of history by enabling the lotus to bloom for the first time.
Pradhan attributed the monumental success to the people's faith in the central government's people-centric policies and the dedicated efforts of the party. He acknowledged the triumph over injustice and fear, marking a new path of trust, development, and governance in line with Syama Prasad Mookerjee's vision of 'Sonar Bangla.'
