Palaniswami Secures Decisive Edappadi Victory
AIADMK leader K Palaniswami wins a landslide victory in Edappadi, securing his sixth win since 1989. He defeated Independent candidate Premkumar K with a significant lead. Actor Vijay's party also witnessed notable success, with TVK's Saravanan leading in Shozhinganallur. The AIADMK is leading in multiple other constituencies.

AIADMK chief K Palaniswami has achieved a landslide victory in the Edappadi assembly constituency, winning by an impressive margin of 98,110 votes. This victory marks his sixth triumph in the constituency since 1989.
Palaniswami managed to decisively defeat his closest competitor, independent candidate Premkumar K, by securing 1,48,933 votes. Notably, actor Vijay's Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam candidate, M L Vijayaprabhu, also made a remarkable performance in Madavaram with a close second-place margin of 94,985 votes.
The AIADMK has showcased strength elsewhere too, with 22 candidates declared winners and the party currently leading in 26 more constituencies as vote counting continues. These results highlight the party's enduring political influence in the region.
