Kunal Ghosh's Resounding Victory in Beleghata
TMC spokesperson Kunal Ghosh won the Beleghata seat in north Kolkata with a significant lead. He defeated BJP's Partha Chaudhury and secured 93,757 votes, while the BJP gained 65,181. CPI(M)'s Paramita Roy trailed in third place. The TMC did not field its sitting MLA, Paresh Paul.

TMC spokesperson Kunal Ghosh has emerged victorious in the Beleghata seat election in north Kolkata, securing a lead of 28,576 votes against his rival from the BJP.
Ghosh, a recognizable figure in the Bengali media, garnered 93,757 votes, surpassing BJP's Partha Chaudhury, who received 65,181 votes.
The CPI(M) candidate, Paramita Roy, came in third with a total of 10,525 votes. Notably, the TMC opted not to renominate its incumbent MLA, Paresh Paul, for this election cycle.
