The delimitation also reserved more seats for Scheduled Tribes and Castes, impacting opposition parties.

The reorganization of constituencies strategically reduced minority influence, reserving more seats for Scheduled Tribes and Castes, thus weakening the opposition's stronghold.

Despite the delimitation, Congress and AIUDF struggled, securing only 24 seats between them, while the NDA leveraged identity politics to consolidate its dominance in the region.
