A senior member of the Iranian parliament strongly criticized a U.S. proposal aimed at negotiating peace, following a report by Axios. The report was dismissed as unrealistic by the Iranian official.
Ebrahim Rezaei, serving as the spokesperson for the parliament's foreign policy and national security committee, shared his views on the issue. Posting on the platform X, he highlighted that the alleged proposal shared by Axios was more reflective of American desires than practical solutions.
Rezaei also remarked that the United States would be unable to secure any meaningful victories in the ongoing conflict, having failed to do so in direct negotiations.
