This endorsement came during Adhikari's visit to Chakraborty's residence in New Town, where the duo engaged in discussions for nearly an hour before Adhikari commenced his district tour.

Following their meeting, Chakraborty confidently stated that Adhikari is set to bring real change to West Bengal, expressing trust in the BJP leader's capabilities. Meanwhile, Adhikari emphasized Chakraborty's role as a pivotal figure in the party's campaign efforts, despite not seeking any political position.

The meeting precedes Adhikari's strategic tour to South 24 Parganas, targeting constituencies like politically charged Diamond Harbour. This visit comes in light of the countermanding of elections in the Falta constituency due to allegations of electoral malpractices like EVM tampering and voter intimidation.
