Lukashenko says Belarus will not be dragged into Ukraine war, but will defend itself with Russia

​Belarusian President Alexander ‌Lukashenko said ​on Thursday that ‌Belarus would not be dragged into the Ukraine ‌war, but that Russia ‌and Belarus would jointly defend themselves in ⁠case ​of ⁠aggression, Belarusian state news agency ⁠BELTA reported.

BELTA cited Lukashenko ​as saying, amid joint ⁠nuclear exercises held by ⁠Russia ​and Belarus, that he is ⁠ready to meet Ukrainian President ⁠Volodymyr ⁠Zelenskiy.
