Iran Criticizes UN Nuclear Watchdog's Alleged Political Pressure Tactics

Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister, Kazem Gharibabadi, has called upon the U.N. nuclear watchdog to steer clear of using technical reports as instruments of political influence if it intends to facilitate a diplomatic resolution.

He asserted that the agency's reduced oversight of some Iranian nuclear facilities was a direct consequence of external attacks rather than a result of Iran's non-cooperation, pointing fingers at U.S. and Israeli actions.

Gharibabadi accused the International Atomic Energy Agency of exploiting the aftermath of these strikes to sow confusion and ambiguity about Iran's nuclear ambitions.
