Tensions escalate following clashes, with accusations against Washington and Israel for undermining diplomacy. Iran stresses the need for a stable environment to reassess diplomatic paths.
Diplomatic ties between the United States and Iran face significant hurdles as repeated ceasefire violations in the Gulf hinder progress. Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Esmaeil Baghaei, on Wednesday, expressed concerns over the continued clashes between Tehran and Washington.
Baghaei criticized the United States for its conflicting messages and inconsistent diplomatic stance, accusing it of undermining peace efforts. Additionally, he implicated Israel for its role in damaging diplomatic processes through repeated ceasefire breaches, particularly in Lebanon.
In response to recent overnight events, Baghaei stated that Iran might have to reassess its diplomatic approach with Washington, emphasizing the necessity of a stable environment for any diplomatic progress.
