Russia's Defence Ministry announced it conducted overnight attacks on military-related transport and logistics centers in Kyiv as well as a significant iron and steel works in Zaporizhzhia, which were allegedly aiding Ukraine's war efforts.
Ukrainian officials reported the attacks resulted in the deaths of six individuals and injuries to 20 more in Zaporizhzhia, with fires breaking out in Kyiv. Both nations have denied intentionally targeting civilian populations.
The Russian military asserts it struck the Nova Poshta sorting complex in Kyiv, purportedly involved in distributing components for drones and electronic warfare equipment. Additionally, the Kyiv-3 transport center, allegedly housing attack drones and control stations, was targeted.
