PM Modi can't face media questions, says NCP

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has proved he cannot face the media, the NCP charged Friday after the former attended his first press conference, but refused to take questions citing party discipline. In a surprise move, Modi Friday showed up for a scheduled press conference by BJP president Amit Shah in Delhi.
Modi, however, diverted questions, saying he will not answer because the press conference is being addressed by Shah, and in BJP's system, the discipline has to be followed. "Modi ji has proved he cannot face the media. He came before the media for the first time in five years but did answer questions," NCP chief spokesperson Nawab Malik said.
