U.S. President Donald Trump is considering blocking $250 million in military aid to Ukraine meant to help the government in its struggle with pro-Russian separatists backed by Moscow, CNN reported on Thursday, citing sources.
CNN said the White House has begun to notify relevant agencies and members of Congress, which approved the aid, but Trump has yet to make a final decision. The White House had no immediate comment when contacted about the CNN report. Moscow annexed Ukraine's Crimea region in 2014.
