Uttar Pradesh receives dry weather

The weather remained dry in Uttar Pradesh with day temperatures rising in several districts of the state, the MeT Department said Tuesday.

On Monday, day temperatures were above normal in Allahabad, Varanasi, Kanpur, Jhansi and Agra divisions.

Allahabad was recorded as the hottest place in the state and registered a maximum temperature of 37.8 degrees Celsius.

According to a forecast by the MeT Department here, rains or thundershowers are very likely at isolated places over east Uttar Pradesh on October 11 and October 12.

The weather is most likely to remain dry over west Uttar Pradesh on October 11 and October 12, it said.
