EPA Employees Voice Dissent Against Administration Policies

Nearly three hundred employees, both current and recently terminated, of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) have issued a bold declaration of dissent on Monday, highlighting five core concerns about the Trump administration's impact on the agency's mission.

The declaration, addressed to Administrator Lee Zeldin, was released amid expectations of further staff reductions and a significant agency restructuring. This reorganization includes the dissolution of its research office and the cancellation of billions in grants, aligning with President Trump's directives to cut regulations and boost fossil fuel energy development.

Expressing a united front, the 278 EPA employees, some signing with full names, criticized the administration's harmful deregulation, the undermining of scientific expertise, and the abandonment of environmental justice. They warned of the lasting risk to public health and safety under the current leadership.
