A fire broke out in a building at Kohinoor Industrial Estate in Mumbai's Lower Parel area on Friday, confirming reports by a civic official. Though alarming, the incident thankfully resulted in no injuries. The fire occurred on the third floor of the building.
The fire department was alerted at 4:17 PM, prompting a swift response from their team. Four fire engines and multiple firefighting vehicles were dispatched immediately, the official noted. The industrial estate's location along the busy Senapati Bapat Marg added urgency to the situation.
By 5:26 PM, firefighting efforts had successfully extinguished the blaze. Other local agencies, including police and ambulance services, were also mobilized to ensure public safety, the official added.
