Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh after the inauguration of 22 strategically crucial projects in the Union Territory on Sunday.
These projects are part of 125 completed by the Border Roads Organisation across different regions of India. The Defence Minister inaugurated them during his visit to Leh, Ladakh. Among those attending the virtual event were J-K Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, Rajasthan Governor Haribhau Kisanrao Bagde, and Mizoram Governor Vijay Kumar Singh.
The projects encompass roads, bridges, and tunnels across J-K, Ladakh, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, West Bengal, and Mizoram. Designed to bolster military readiness and local development, these initiatives signify significant progress in some of the country's most challenging terrains.
