Tragedy Strikes in Nashik: Car Plunge Claims Six Lives
Six individuals died after their vehicle plummeted into a canyon in Nashik's Kalwan area. The tragic incident occurred at Saptashring Garh Ghat around 4pm on Sunday. Emergency operations are ongoing under the supervision of Senior officials, including the Superintendent of Police and District Disaster Authority CEO.

A tragic accident in Nashik's Kalwan taluka claimed the lives of six individuals on Sunday when their car fell into a 600-foot gorge. The incident occurred at 4pm in the Saptashring Garh Ghat area.
The victims, hailing from Pimpalgaon Baswant in Niphad taluka, were traveling in a Toyota Innova when the mishap occurred. They were identified as Kirti Patel (50), Raseela Patel (50), Vitthal Patel (65), Lata Patel (60), Vachan Patel (60), and Maniben Patel (70), according to police reports. Unfortunately, none survived the crash.
Superintendent of Police Balasaheb Patil is overseeing the ongoing rescue operations with personnel from the police and district disaster management committee. Efforts are being coordinated by Rohitkumar Rajput, the resident deputy collector and District Disaster Authority CEO.
