According to a Delhi Fire Services official, the emergency call was received at 11.05 am, following which two fire tenders were swiftly deployed to handle the blaze. The response was prompt in an effort to curtail the spread of smoke and its discomforting effects on the local populace.
As firefighting operations continued, authorities indicated that more information regarding the cause of the fire and its potential impact on the surrounding environment would be released subsequently. Residents have been advised to exercise caution until the situation is brought fully under control.
