The cold wave across northern India persists as several regions, including Kashmir, experience sub-zero temperatures. Heavy fog envelops major northern cities, impacting visibility.
Punishing cold temperatures affect Haryana and Punjab. Bhiwani recorded Haryana's lowest temperature at 1.5°C, while Punjab's Ballowal Saunkhri reported a chilling 0.9°C. Visibility in dense fog remained low in Chandigarh.
Delhi sees slight improvement in temperature but grapples with poor air quality, leading to GRAP 3 restrictions. Meanwhile, cold, dry conditions dominate Uttar Pradesh and parts of northern India, with minimal relief from the harsh winter weather.
