Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has announced a revised 'One-Time Settlement Scheme' to expedite the resolution of long-standing residential and commercial allotment cases. During a recent departmental review, Adityanath emphasized that delays in dues and disputes hinder housing scheme progress and burden citizens.
The new scheme aims to create a transparent and efficient resolution process for all stakeholders, focusing on genuine allottees. Referencing the initial 2020 scheme, the government observed substantial case resolutions, yet many faltered due to the pandemic's financial toll.
Adityanath instructed that the 2026 scheme be practical, offering rebates for lump-sum payers and instalment options. He stressed timeliness, publicity, and online accessibility to maximize scheme participation and user convenience.
