Rajasthan saw a reprieve from blistering heat as several regions experienced rain and dust storms due to a western disturbance, according to the Meteorological Centre in Jaipur.
The state recorded light to moderate rainfall, accompanied by thunderstorms and gusty winds, in isolated locations within the last 24 hours.
Srimadhopur in the Sikar district reported the highest rainfall, measuring 48 mm, and brought maximum temperatures down to between 39 and 41 degrees Celsius across much of the state.
