Delegations from the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank conducted a thorough review of the ongoing infrastructure and development projects in Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh's greenfield capital city, on Monday.
The high-profile teams engaged with senior officials, evaluating progress in infrastructure work, environmental safeguards, social welfare provisions, and smart city initiatives under the efforts of the Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA).
The review spotlighted sites like the Gravity Canal at N16 Junction and the APCRDA Command and Control Centre, where integrated monitoring and quantum computing innovations were demonstrated. Additionally, discussions about Phase-2 funding for further development are slated for the following day.
