The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) recently hosted a two-day event aimed at raising awareness about menstrual hygiene at Sarai Kale Khan and Begumpul Namo Bharat stations. This campaign sought to inform and educate women commuters about menstrual health and safe hygiene practices.

Held over Wednesday and Thursday, the initiative featured volunteers engaging with passengers at information desks and kiosks, offering literature on menstrual well-being. Women travelers also received hygiene kits containing sanitary pads and educational materials. Meanwhile, interactive zones and themed photo booths were established to encourage public participation.

The NCRTC reported positive feedback from the campaign, with participants valuing the opportunity to discuss menstrual health in a public setting. This effort aligns with NCRTC's broader campaign strategy to enhance gender sensitivity and inclusivity in public transport spaces, particularly targeting women's safety and well-being across the Namo Bharat corridor.
