Indian Athletes Gear Up for Paris Olympics

World Athletics released the list of qualifiers on Tuesday, based on both direct qualifications and world ranking quotas. However, the final selection among those who qualified through rankings rests with the Athletics Federation of India (AFI). National Olympic Committees have until July 4 to decline any quotas, after which WA will reallocate them based on rankings.

Yarraji narrowly missed automatic qualification time but ranked 34th globally, while Khatua's performance at the National Inter-State Championships elevated her to 23rd place. Other notable qualifiers include high jumper Sarvesh Anil Kushare and Olympian Neeraj Chopra. India's roster for the Paris Olympics will be finalized on July 7.
