Fresh off their Asia Cup triumph, the Sri Lanka women's cricket team is set to tour Ireland for two T20Is and three ODIs, Sri Lanka Cricket announced. The tour, running from August 11 to 20, will witness the team departing for Ireland on August 6.

This marks the first bilateral series between the two nations on Irish soil. The tour will kick off with T20I matches in Dublin on August 11 and 13, followed by the ODI series in Belfast. The ODIs are scheduled for August 16, 18, and 20, and will be a part of the 2022-2025 ICC Women's Championship cycle.

Notably, Sri Lanka women's team recently defeated India in the final of the Women's Asia Cup, adding momentum ahead of their Ireland tour.
