Union Minister of Youth Affairs & Sports and Labour & Employment, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, delivered a compelling keynote address at the 'Impact With Youth Conclave 2024' held in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The event, jointly organized by the United Nations India, UNICEF, UNICEF YuWaah, and Elixir Foundation in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, drew hundreds of enthusiastic young individuals eager to unlock their potential.

In his address, Dr. Mandaviya emphasized the pivotal role of youth in achieving India's vision of a developed nation (Viksit Bharat) by 2047. He stated, “The youth are not just the leaders of tomorrow but the change-makers of today. Your energy, innovation, and dedication are essential to realizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a Viksit Bharat.”

Dr. Mandaviya lauded India's youthful demographic, expressing the government’s confidence in their capabilities. He highlighted the government's efforts to empower young people and provide them with ample opportunities.

The Minister also underscored the transformative power of digital technologies, urging the youth to register on the MY Bharat platform. He described the platform as a comprehensive solution for the needs of the youth, offering access to information, career applications, and other services both nationally and internationally.

During the 'Yuvaa Samvaad' segment, Dr. Mandaviya engaged in an interactive dialogue with young participants, who shared their inspiring stories of overcoming obstacles and effecting positive change in their communities. This segment showcased the potential and determination of the youth to contribute meaningfully to society.

Additionally, Dr. Mandaviya encouraged participation in the #Plant4Mother initiative, underscoring the crucial role of young people in environmental conservation and sustainability efforts.

Ms. Cynthia McCaffrey, UNICEF Representative in India and Co-Chair of the UNICEF YuWaah board, highlighted the importance of involving youth in global action, aligning with the event's theme of leveraging young people's potential for societal impact.
