The Food Corporation of India, Services Sports Control Board, Comptroller & Auditor General Of India, and Punjab National Bank secured spots in the quarterfinals of the 4th Senior Men's Inter-Department National Hockey Championship. The Food Corporation of India (FCI), Services Sports Control Board, Comptroller & Auditor General Of India, and Punjab National Bank (PnB) have advanced to the quarterfinals of the 4th Senior Men's Inter-Department National Hockey Championship, held here on Wednesday.

FCI delivered a commanding performance by thrashing Sashastra Seema Bal 7-0, with three goals by Laishram Dipu Singh and contributions from Kerobin Lakra, Deepak, and Boby Singh Dhami. Meanwhile, the Services Sports Control Board triumphed over Tamil Nadu Police with a 6-0 score, showcasing a balanced attack led by Pratap Shinde.

The Comptroller & Auditor General of India edged Punjab and Sindh Bank 2-1 after a comeback, ensuring their top spot in Pool D. In a closely fought match, the Central Reserve Police Force defeated the Central Industrial Security Force 4-3, rounding out an action-packed day.
