In a commendable acknowledgment of India's cricketing prowess, Hong Kong vice-captain Babar Hayat has hailed the Men in Blue as the strongest team on the global stage. According to Hayat, India's stature remains unparalleled across tournaments such as the World Cup and Asia Cup. He emphasized the remarkable depth and professionalism of the team, despite the absence of stalwarts like Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, underscoring the ensemble's robust performance.

Highlighting the formidable strength within the Indian squad, Hayat refrained from pinpointing a single dangerous player. Acknowledging the collective quality, he mentioned Jasprit Bumrah, Shubman Gill, and Hardik Pandya as integral components of the winning squad. Hayat stressed that India's bench strength is equally formidable, with every player a potential match-winner, reflecting the breadth of talent the team boasts.

On Sunday, India showcased their cricketing dominance by thoroughly outplaying Pakistan in Dubai. Opting to bat after winning the toss, Pakistan faced struggles, finding themselves at 6/2 early on. Contributions from Sahibzada Farhan and Fakhar Zaman momentarily anchored the innings before India, led by Kuldeep Yadav's stellar bowling figures of 3/18, capsized the innings to 97/8. Shaheen Shah Afridi's late surge brought some respectability to Pakistan's total of 127/9 in 20 overs.

India, in their chase, encountered early setbacks but steadied with Abhishek Sharma's brisk 31. A crucial partnership between Suryakumar Yadav, who remained unbeaten on 47, and Tilak Varma added stability, guiding India to victory with significant ease—seven wickets and 25 balls to spare. Kuldeep Yadav's impressive performance earned him the 'Player of the Match' accolade, as the win placed India at the apex of Group A with an impeccable record.
