With this victory, Bangladesh celebrated its first ODI series win since March 2024. The Bangladesh openers, Saif Hassan and Soumya Sarkar laid the foundation with an opening partnership of 176. Sarkar's 91 off 86 balls set the pace, aided by Hasan's brisk 80 from 72 balls. The teams will face off again in a T20 series in Chattogram starting October 27.
