In Pool A's first match, Ireland edged out Canada 4-3. Louis Rowe's two field goals, coupled with Gregory Williams' penalty corner conversion, ensured Ireland's victory despite Canada's late resurgence. The tournament runs from November 28 to December 10 in Chennai and Madurai.
