Bills C Morse in concussion protocol

Buffalo Bills center Mitch Morse is in concussion protocol. He suffered a concussion Saturday during practice but his symptoms did not show up immediately. The concussion was diagnosed on Tuesday and announced Wednesday morning by coach Sean McDermott.

Morse, 27, signed a four-year, $44.5 million contract with the Bills during the offseason to make him the league's highest-paid center. As a member of the Kansas City Chiefs last season, he missed five games with a concussion and has had at least three during his four years in the NFL. The Chiefs selected Morse in the second round (49th overall) of the 2015 NFL Draft.
