India's SMBs Propel SAP's Rapid Growth with AI Adoption
India is one of the fastest-growing markets for SAP, driven by small and medium businesses keen on adopting technology and AI. India is emerging as one of the fastest-growing markets for SAP, driven primarily by small and medium businesses adopting technology and AI to enhance scale and efficiency.
Manish Prasad, President of SAP Indian Subcontinent, described the market as a melting pot of innovation in an interview with PTI. Prasad highlighted the rapid growth and prioritization of AI among SMBs, which are crucial to SAP's strategy in the region.
SAP India, which began operations in 1996, now sees around 60% of India's GDP interacting with its systems. The company is focusing on the mid-market segment, with eight of its ten customers coming from this sector, aiming to drive growth through technological integration and talent development.
