Speaking at a recent company event, Thomas Kurian, the CEO of Google Cloud, unveiled that the AI hub will be a comprehensive complex featuring advanced AI infrastructure, increased data center capacity, sustainable energy sources, and an expanded optical fiber network.

Kurian stated, "We plan to invest USD 15 billion over the next five years in setting up an AI hub in Visakhapatnam," indicating Google's strategic push into the region to bolster its AI capabilities.
