This upward trend is primarily driven by the tech sector, where almost 39% of data and analytics roles, 23% of software development, and 17% of scientific research jobs mention AI skills.

The report, drawing from Indeed's job posting data, underscores the growing importance of AI across different sectors, even as overall job postings declined slightly by 0.8% in September, marking the sixth consecutive month of decline.
