Indian Air Force Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla, who made history as India's first astronaut to visit the International Space Station (ISS), called upon young Indians to actively participate in realizing Viksit Bharat 2047. His address highlighted the symbiotic relationship between Artificial Intelligence (AI) and advancements in space technology.
At the inaugural session of Delhi's AI Grind Challenge, Shukla recounted his groundbreaking space journey as part of the Axiom-4 mission and emphasized the transformative potential of AI. In attendance, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta announced the AI Grind as India's pioneering city-centric AI innovation initiative, aiming to unite schools, communities, and industries over six months to tackle real-world issues collaboratively.
Chief Minister Gupta took to Twitter, underlining the program's ambition to transform classrooms into innovation labs and inspire students as catalysts of change, positioning Delhi as a knowledge and AI innovation leader.
