What are the Prospects of Domestic Tourism in Post-Covid Nepal?

For the last 70 years, Nepal has focused on international tourism while domestic tourism remained neglected.

Studies have shown that domestic tourism is the key contributor to the global tourism market, accounting for an average of 75% of global tourism expenditure.

The question of whether domestic tourism can revive the tourism industry in Nepal can best be answered if a proper roadmap and strategies are employed to lift domestic travel.
