Royal Philips Tuesday said it has launched its first global startup collaboration programme that will focus on the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in healthcare.

The programme will include Philips' innovation hubs in Cambridge (the US), Eindhoven (the Netherlands), Bengaluru (India) and Shanghai (China), it said in a statement.

"The Indian startup ecosystem is demonstrating an increasing trend of applications based on deep learning and AI in the healthcare domain. Philips is engaging with entrepreneurs who are developing AI-enabled solutions for improving clinical and operational outcomes," Srinivas Prasad, CEO at Philips Innovation Campus-Bengaluru, said.

Myntra, Saif Ali Khan join hands to launch 'House of Pataudi'

Online fashion retailer Myntra has partnered with actor Saif Ali Khan to launch 'House of Pataudi' ethnic wear brand on the platform.

House of Pataudi is co-owned by Myntra, Exceed Entertainment and Saif Ali Khan, a statement said.

The collection comprises traditional Indian wear under 'Rozana' (everyday wear), Jashn (festive finery with a regal charm), Riwayat (for classic Indian weddings) and a special edition, comprising collections inspired by the Pataudi trousseau.

Route Mobile expands international footprint to Uganda, other countries

Route Mobile, a cloud-communication platform service provider, Tuesday said it is expanding its operations to Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh, and Uganda and will offer a range of communication services to businesses in these markets.

The surge of modernisation in the telecom sector in all these regions has substantially opened up avenues for businesses and investments, offering a steady upward growth and making these countries lucrative business hotspots, the company said in a statement.

"These offices are strategically positioned to help foray and reinforce the Route Mobiles’ presence in the local and global markets. This move is in alignment with the Route Mobiles’ strategic growth plan and gaining market prominence in these regions," Route Mobile MD and Group CEO Rajdip Kumar Gupta said.

Saregama forms a strategic partnership with Harman Kardon

Music label Saregama Tuesday said it has entered into a strategic partnership with audio brand Harman Kardon, by HARMAN, for launching the new version of its Caravan range of products.

The first product from this partnership - Caravan Gold - features Harman Kardon sound technology and speakers and comes in a hi-end metallic body. It will include 5000 pre-loaded Hindi songs categorized into over 130 stations.

"Our partnership with Harman Kardon allows us to deliver exceptional sound quality to the retro music lovers," Vikram Mehra, managing director of Saregama India, said.
