Customs officials recover 700 gm gold from two women at Jaipur airport

Customs department at the international airport here have recovered 700 grams of gold from two women, officials said on Thursday, adding that the duo have been detained.
A custom department official said that gold weighing 700 grams was recovered from two women passengers after they arrived at the Jaipur International Airport from Bangkok on Wednesday. The women had concealed the gold in their rectum in the form of capsules, the official said.
The value of recovered gold in the international market has been estimated to be around Rs 43.12 lakhs.
