CBRE Acquires Paia Consulting to Boost Global Sustainability Initiatives
CBRE has acquired Singapore-based Paia Consulting, enhancing its sustainability services across the APAC region. The integration aims to offer comprehensive ESG solutions to global clients, leveraging combined expertise.

CBRE announced its acquisition of Singapore's Paia Consulting, a firm specializing in sustainability consultancy, on August 2 in New Delhi. This move aims to bolster CBRE's sustainability strategies for both occupiers and investors globally.
Anshuman Magazine, President of CBRE Advisory Division for India, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Africa, emphasized the growing interest and regulatory push for sustainability in business. He noted that this acquisition will impact the APAC region, allowing CBRE to offer best practices across multiple geographies.
Founded in 2002, Paia Consulting has provided key sustainability strategies and reporting services for over 100 firms listed on the Singapore Exchange. Post-acquisition, Paia's professionals will join CBRE's ESG Consulting & Sustainability Services team in Singapore, the hub for CBRE's APAC sustainability operations. The integration will be led by David Fogarty, head of ESG Consulting & Sustainability Services in Asia.
Moray Armstrong, Managing Director of CBRE Singapore, highlighted that this acquisition will enable CBRE to offer more comprehensive services and solutions amid a complex business environment. Paia Consulting's leadership, including founder Carrie Johnson and Managing Director Corrado Forcellati, will assume key roles within CBRE.
Forcellati expressed optimism about the combined capabilities of both teams to provide enhanced sustainability solutions to clients. He stressed that core values like care, curiosity, collaboration, and dedication will continue to drive their approach.
