The Andhra Pradesh government is poised to allocate matching grants for centrally sponsored schemes in its forthcoming Budget, as announced by Twenty-Point Programme (TPP) Chairman Lanka Dinakar on Thursday.

During a press conference in the national capital, the BJP leader criticized the previous YSRCP government for its shortcomings in providing matching grants for central schemes such as Jal Jeevan Mission, MNREGA, and PMAY, resulting in unutilized funds.

Dinakar emphasized the importance of systematically revitalizing the state's finances to achieve self-sustainability, mentioning that the Budget preparations are being led objectively by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Finance Minister Payyavula Keshav.
